Air Classifier
How It Works
Materials enter the chamber via upward airflow, sorted by differences in size, shape, and density. Aerodynamic drag counteracts gravity and centrifugal forces; fine powders pass through the turbine for collection, while coarse particles settle and exit, completing the precise dry sorting and refining process.
Performance Features
Turbine Classification & Narrow PSD Control
Utilizing advanced turbine technology, this classifier allows for precise cut-offs within a 3–150μm range. Even for abrasive Quartz & Silica Powder, it stably produces ultrafine powders with over 97% content below 5μm. This control significantly narrows the PSD and eliminates oversized particles, meeting the stringent consistency requirements of electronic-grade materials.
Wear Resistance & Longevity
Tailored for the high hardness and abrasive nature of Quartz & Silica Powder, classifier blades feature wear-resistant alloys or ceramics for stability under high-speed impact. The anti-sediment design minimizes internal buildup and reduces maintenance frequency.
Vertical Model: Large-Scale Industrial Output
The vertical design optimizes the discharge path to reduce flow resistance. This configuration significantly boosts hourly capacity, making it the premier choice for the mass production of Quartz & Silica Powder.
Horizontal Model: Extreme Sorting Precision
The horizontal turbine enables higher speeds and stronger centrifugal forces for superior particle sensitivity. It yields high-value products with uniform distribution and higher purity, ideal for fine chemicals and advanced electronics.
Secondary Air Intake & Refined Efficiency
The scientific secondary air intake re-sorts fine particles trapped in coarse material. This aerodynamic optimization boosts recovery rates and ensures maximum purity for Quartz & Silica Powder during refinement.
